City of Melbourns Bank.
FURTHER DISCLOSURES. (Per Press Association.) Losdon, July 24. A meeting of the London depositors rejected the reconstruction scheme of the City of Melbourne Bank and appointed the existing Commititee to cooperate with the Scotch Committee m makin" enquiries into the position of the Bank. Mr Stewart, Official Receiver, reported most unfavorably on debtors' accounts, and questioned the accuracy of the old balance-sheets ; also that the directors' overdrafts exceeded L 50,000.
