Heavy Snow Storms in Victoria.

(Per Press Association). Melbourne, This Day. There have been heavy snow storms in all parts of the colony except the Melbourne district. In some places the snow had never been seen before, and in others it is the heaviest known for years. At Harwell it ranged from one to two feet, at Jethra it was eight inches deep. The telegraph wires were weighted down. Trains in most instances cut their way through. At Loch, however, a train was blocked by snow drifts and the trucks had to be taken off before it could proceed.
