OTICE is hereby given that at a J3l meeting of the Manchester Road Board to be held on Saturday, the third day of August, 1895, the following Special Order will be confirmed, viz. : — That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188C," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 7th day of May, 1895, authorising the Manchester Road Board to construct a Bridge over the Mangaone stream, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, to borrow the sum of £420 for the purpose of providing four-fifths of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Mangaone stream on the Feilding- Ashurst road and making the approaches thereto and all other work necessary for the due completion of the said bridge, in accordance with above - mentioned Warrant, and that a Special Rate ot one-hundreth part of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands occupied by Native > owners excepted) within the Manchester Road District for 1 the purpose of paying the interest on the above loan of £420, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to ; Local BodiesAct, 1886,"such 1 rate to be an annual-recur-ring rate for 26 years, and 3 payable in equal instalments, at the Board's office, on the 1 first day of April and Octo--3 ber in each year.
