Broken Hill Silver Mine
(PEE PBES9 ASSOCIATION .I Sydney, This Day. The report of the Directors of the Broken Hill Proprietary Mine states that after a careful estimate of the. quantity of oxidised ore remaining in the mine and available for the present method of treattnent, it will be necessary that every effort be made to economise the higher grade to such an extent as to present any burden on, or excessive cost in the treatment of the lower grades. On the recommendation of the General Manager it was decided to reduce the weekly output, and this will render it impossible to maintain the present dividends without encroaching on the reserve assets.
