«- i [From Our Own Correspondentj The Hope of Apiti Lodge of I.O.GhT. met on Saturday night last, and, after the usual routine business had been gone through, it was decided to hold a special meeting to balance the accounts before the new quarter begins. The Apiti members were prevented by slips on- the road from visitingliangiwahia to make arrangements to open a new Lodge there, but they have decided to hold a meeting in Mr Goodwin's Hall on the evening of August 3rd, when most of the officers will endavour to be present. An advertisement on the matter will appear in a few days.
