Mysterious Death.

(Per Press Association). Napier July 17. Gerald Dowling, aged 27, died at the hospital suddenly. He was a prohibited person, but managed to obtain liquor and go on a heavy spree, and when sent to the hospital was supposed to be suffering from alcoholism. On a post mortem being held the organs were fouud to be slightly diseased, but nothing was discovered to account for death, and as deceased had been suffering great pain before admission, the inquest was adjourned to enable the stomach to be sent to Wellington for analysis.
