LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
(Per Press Association). Wellington, July 16. The Counoil met at 2.30. Tho Sale of Goods Bill and the Institute ofjSurveyors' Bill were read a third time and passed. Further debate took plac« on the second reading of the J udicial|Practice and Procedure Bill. The Hons. McCullough, Kerr, aud Kelly supported the Bill, and the Hons. Bonar, Bolt, Shrimski, Pollen, Bowen, and Stevens, opposed it. The debate was again adjourned. The Council rose at 5 p.m.
