Direct Trade with Manchester.
m I PEE PBESB ASSOCIATION.! London, July 16. Sir W. Houldsworth, speaking on Mr Hotson's paper, urged the meeting to lose no time in beginning a direct trade, which would be of immense importance to the North of England. The speaker declared the middleman in England was necessary. The Manchester newspapers comment favorably on Mr Hotson's visit, and strongly encourages a direct trade to Manchester.
