THE RABBIT INDUSTRY. (Per Press Association). Sydney, Jnly 16Obituary—Lady Parkes. Mr W. j. Fergusson, labour candidate was returned unopposed for the Sturt seat. An order has been issued prohibiting the importation of New Zealand pigs into New South Wales for 12 months. Melbourne, This Day. Government have been informed by the Agent-General that the price of' Australian rabbits for the coming season is expected to reach lOd to lld. He is confident a very large trade can be secured in the manufacturing centres, and strongly urges shippers to accept a small profit with a view of pushing the trade.
