State Advances Bill.
T I Per Press Association! Adelaide, This Day. The State Advances Bill provides the Government shall take over the business and funds of tbe Savings Bank. Tbe President and Trustees will be replaced by five created under the new Bill in place of half, as previously announced. Tbey will be allowed to advance twofifths of the entire funds on mortgage and another two-fifths on invested securities guaranteed by tbe Government or municipal bodies, the remaining fifth will be retained in cash, the total advances not to exceed three millions. Advances on the security of land are not to exceed one-half the unimproved value.
