Hnrland, G. W. Wolff, W. Johnston Tories; Arnold Forster, Unionist; all for Belfast Balnwin, C, Bewdley ; Moore, U, Ludlow ; Col Staney, C, Newport; Hudson, C, Hitching; Sir J. Hunter, 0, Marylebone; Sir John Broadnck, Gmlford. The following were also returned :-- Sir S. Northcote, Exeter; Daley, P, Limerick. , . Unionists nave gained Darlington, Stockport, Manchester and Salford. The Liberals gain Perth. Balfonr declared Manchester had covered itself with glory, and the Tones had won a victory there which womd be echoed through the country. Sir W Harcourt said he could not conceal the magnitude of the surprising defeat. He and his wife were pelted with cabbages and filth while driving through Derby. .
