National Dairy Association.
A general meeting of the National I Dairy Association was held 'at Ha- j wera on the sth instant. It was decided that a conferer.ee •? five membejß from each Island should be held at Wellington as early as possible to consider the reorganisation of the Association. The instructions of the delegates shall be a& follows : — The heart office of the Association to be in Wellington ; (2) the Executive of each Island shall select five of their number to form a council to meet in Wellington at least once in each year during the session of Parliament, to transact all general business affecting the Association as a whole ; (3) tbe Association to be at once registered so as to give it a legal status either by Parliamentary legislation, or by forming the Association into a joint stock joint company. The following gentlemeu were appointed delegates to attend the conference :fc Welling-- : ton with power to act : — Messrs A. | King, New Plymouth ; B. C. Bobbin, Hawera ; O. W. Oldham, Patea ; F. ?pencer, Cheltenham ; and W. Booth, Cartert m. The Conference will take place at Wellington on Thursday, the 25th instant.
