Sydney papers to hand state that shortly after the publication of the weights Dreamland was backed down to 100 to 4 for the Melbourne Cup, and Atlas was nearly as good a favorite, while enquiries were made about Best Bower. Atlas was most in favor for. the Caulfield Cup at 100 to 4, and Brockleigh and Hopscotch were in slight request for the same race at 100 to 2. NAPIER PARK MEETING. (Per Press Association). Napier.
