LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, jjuly 3. The Council met at 2.30. Hon. Sir P. Buckley, replying to Hon. Rigg, said it was not considered desirable that the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Society should be recognised. The following Bills were read a second time : — New Zealand Institute of Surveyors Bill, Uniforms Bill, Dog, Registration Act Amendment Bill. The Cjpu'ncil then adjourned.
