"T^T OTICE is hereby given that at a I^l meeting of the Manchester Road Board to be held on Saturday, the third day of August, 1895, the following Special Order will be confirmed, viz. : — That it is the intention of the Manchester Road Board, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 7th day of May, 1895, authorising the Manchester Road Board to construct a Bridge over the Mangaone stream, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, to borrow the sum of £420 for the purpose of providing four-fifths of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Mangaone stream on the Feilding- Ashurst road and making the approaches thereto and all other work necessary for the due completion of the said bridge, in accordance with above - mentioned Warrant, and that a Special Rate ot one-hundreth part of a penny in the £> be made upon tlie rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands occupied by Native owners excepted) within the Manchester Road District for the purpose of paying the interest on the above loan of £420, to be borrowed under '* The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," such rate to be an annual-recur-ring rate for 26 years, and payable in equal instalments, at the Board's office, on the first day of April and October in each year.
