Whitniore regretted that so few legal members of the Council were present- .However, as the Bill must go to the Statutes Revision Committee, he would vote for the second reading. Hons. McLean and Scotland opposed the bill. On the motion of the Hon. Dr Grace, the debate was adjourned for a week, The Council then adjourned till next day.
