(Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 28. The Council met at 2 30. The Imprest Supply Bill for £302,---000 passed through all stages. The Poisons Importation and Carriage Bill passed through Committee, the principal amendmeut made being that poisons mentioned in the schedule should be packed in iron watertight drums and painted red. The schedule was further amended so as to include only arsenic and cyanide of potassium. The Animals Protection Bill was committed and amondod with a view to make all vessels come under the provisions of the Bill in order to pro- j vent the introduction of voDomous snakes and insects into the colony.
