The French Navy Not Prepared for War.
o— — — [Per Press Association j . Paris, June 27. Admiral Tournier informed the Naval Commission that the French Fleet was not prepared for war. The squadrons in the distant seas were mere shams, and the battleships were chiefly useful for coastal defences only. The statement has caused a deep sensation in France.
