» The following London market cable has been received by the N.Z.L. & M.A. Company : — Wool— Since close of the sales there has been some business by private treaty at fully previous rates, the sales comprising 4000 bales. Frozen meats— The lamb market is inactive, and prime New Zealand Jamb is now worth per carcase 5d per lb. Tallow — Medium and inferior mutton tallow is in demand, but fine is neglected. Good beef tallow is worth 21s 6d per cwt.
