(Per Press Association.) Bkisbane, June 24. At the combined Cycling Club's Carnival, the Mile Championship of Australia was c won by Swinson (Brisbane), Stewart (Brisbane) 2, Fifczpatrick (Sydney) 3. Time, 2min. 31 4-ssec. The Three-mile Championship of Queensland was won by Smith (Queensland). Time, Bmm. 57sec. Paris, June 23. Fontaine, the cyclist, rode nearly 456 miles in 24 hours, thus beating all previous English records.
