Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for the amount claimed with i costs. A. R. Allan v, A. J. Hawke ; claim C 3 15s. Mr Reade for the plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs 10s. G. C. Hill, Town Clerk, v. R. Soracrville ; claim £2 lGs for rates. Judgment for plaintiff with costs 3s. W. Pearson v. R. Somerville ; claim i'l lls 9d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment tor amount claimed with costs ss. James Bull v. George and F. Coyle ; claim £9 6s Bel. Mr Sandiltinds for the plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs 12s; solicitor's fee 1 5s 6d. Berry and Trevena v. C. Woodley ; claim £1 ss. Mr Reade for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs os. F. Flavell, Inspector of Vehicles, , charged 1 homas Smith with using cirt for hire within the borough without a license. Convicted and fined 2s Gd, costs of court 9s, witness' expenses Bs. Mr E. A. Brown v. H. A. Terry ; claim £2 10s. Mr Sandilands for the plaintiff and Mr Prior for defendant. This was a claim for a saddle alleged to have been sold to defendant, who denied buying it. Mrs Brown and B. Terry gave evidence in support of the claim and defendant and E. Terry gave evidence for the defence. Judgment was given for the plaintiff with costs 10s, solicitor's fee £i Gs, witness expenses -Is. G. C. Hill, Town Clerk, v. Arthur PalUnt ; claim £C> U Id for rates. Mr Hill appeared in support of the claim, which defendant denied, contending that the Boot Company took over his lease one month after he leased the property. Judgment for plaintiff. George Flygcr v. A. Callaghan ; a judgment summons claim .t"2 l'.)s (id. Mr iicade for plaintiff. Ordered to bo paid forthwith or iv default seven days' imprisonment in Wauganui gaol. Franklin- Browne v. C. Matthews ; claim .£■(> 10.s. Mr Fitzhcrbert for plaintiff and Mr Cohen for defendant. This was a case iv which plaintiff sought to recover commission, lie alleging he acted as agent on commission iv the sale ol! defendant's bakery business in Fcildiug, plaintiff's sous being the purchasers. The defence was that there was no agreement for commission, that Mr Franklin-Browne approached defendant for the sale of the business when nothing was said about commission, which was an after-thought. Plaintiff and Captain Precce gave evidence in support of the claim and C. Matthews aud W. A. Saudilauds for the defence. Uis Worship considered plaintiff had established his claim. It was sufficient when the parties were brought together that a commission could be charged. The connection between plaintiff and his sous was not sufficiently clear to 2 ir ovc lie should lose his commission. Judgment was for amount claimed witli costs 16s, solicitor's fee £1 (3s, witness' expense 15s. (Left Sitting.)
