A Heavy Sea.
(Per Press Association.) Greymouth, June 13. The sea running at Greymouth yesterday was the heaviest experienced for the oast ten years. Waves swept over the southern tipheads, rolling about twentyton blocks as if they were pebbles. A great deal of damage was done, quite four months' work disappearing. The stone has, of course, only settled down, as it was stated in Sir John Coode's plan would be the case until the wall had sufficient base. It is estimated that it will take £"5000 to build the wall to its former position.
