♦ Messrs Abraham and Williams report : — The yarding at Palmerston yesterday was a small one t Young cattle, considering their quality, more than kept their value j other sorts unchanged. We cleared out the sheep at quotations. The entry, in point of quality, was indifferent throughout. Cattle — Mixed weaners, 20s to 21s ; 18-months cattle, £2 5s ; yearling steers, 365; 2^-year steers, £3 ; fat cows, £3 6s to £4 3s ; springing heifers, £3 Is 6d. Sheep — Lambs, 2s 6d to 2s lid ; fat ewes, light weights, 5s 8d ; aged ewes, 2s 6d.
