At the Magistrate's Court to-day Jacob London, a bankrupt, and lately a storekeeper at Kurow, was committed for trial on two charges -one of not keeping proper books and the other for incurring a debt that he had no reasonable expectation of being able to pay. The assay value of the bullion recovered from 493 tons crushed and treated by the New Zealand Crown Mines Company, Ltd., last month, was £2415.
