JUNIOR CUP.
Pirates 11. v. Palmerston 11. The match between these teams on the Showground yesterday resulted in a draw, neither side scoring. The contest was very even. Of the Palmerston backs, Hankins and Hitchings played admirably. All the forwards working willingly. Slattery was tbe pick of tbe Pirates' backs and De Blois of tbo forwards. Mr Haybittle refereed.
