Religious Instruction in School.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, June 12. At a meeting of the Auckland Presbytery, a letter was received from Bishop Cowie stating that a Bill is to be introduced into the Houss of Representatives during the coming session with the object of amending the Act so as to provide for religious instruction in schools, such instruction to be given by the teachers, the text book beiug tho Irish National school bookjof Scripture lessons.
