A Rough Customer.
(Per _*ress Association). New Plymouth, This Day. A man named Wm. Johnston was arrested last night at Inglewood, on a charge of breaking into Massick's shop and stealing a silver cruet and clock. The constable, in arresting Johnston, had a struggle with him to prevent his escape, when the man bit the top off one of the constable's cars. The accused was 1 rought to New Plymouth this morning, aud remanded till Monday.
