♦• Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'s Wanganui stock report. — We held our usual sales during the fortnight. The one at Waverley was well attended, and a good deal of business was done. At Wanganui yesterday the entries were small, but we sold out all the sheep at improved prices, the competition for wethers being keen. Our quotations are ; — Cattle— At Waverley: Pat cows, £3 I7s 6d to £4 12s 6d ; steers, £3 2s 6d ; cows I and calves, £2 16s 6d ; yearlings, 30s to 335. At W T anganui : Milch cows, £4 to £5 7s 6d ; weaners, 16s to 18s. Sheep— At Waverley : Fat wethers, 8s 3d to 8s 6d ; stores, 7s 5d to 8s ; ewes, 8s 5d to 5s 6d ; shorn lambs, 4s 9d. At Wanganui : Forward wethers, 8s 4d to 9s Id ; fat ewes, 6s 6d to 7s ; breeding ewes, 5s to 6s 6d ; old ewes, 2s 6d to 3s; lambs, 4s 9d. Pigs — Porkers, 16s to 19s ; others, lis to lis 6d.
