Taranaki's Oil Boom.
(PEB PEE 39 ASSOCIATION.) New Plymouth, June 8. Great interest was taken in town today about the petroleum company, and a considerable number of shares were applied for. Indications of petroleum are being found t in all directions, the excitement in town causing many country people to search for indications. Immediately the company is formed in Sydney, in about three weeks, several bores will be started simultaneously.
