Feilding Bowling Club.

The Bowling Club met at the Man- • chester Hotel last evening. Present — Messrs W. A. Sandiiancls (in the chair), H. W. Davy (secretary), E. Goodbehere, 0. Bray, senr., 0. Bull, W. A. L. Bailey, W. G. Haybittle, W. Carthew, C. Bray, junr., J. McLaren, J. Campbell, P. Thompson, Dixon, H. Bastings, W. Hodren, W. Light, and H. Worsfold. Resolved, That all subscriptions paid prior to September Ist be considered as paid on that date for the season 1895 6. Resohed, That the secretary be instructed to communicate with the Wanganui Bowling Club to ascertain upon what terms debentures were taken up when their club was formed, and what security, if any, was given. Resolved, That any person joining this club after June Bth be charged an entrance fee of 10d Gd. Rules for the guidance of tlie club were adopted. Resolved, That 100 copies of the rules be printed at once and issued to members at Is per copy. Only two tenders were received for preparing the bowling green, and it was resolved that no tender be accepted for preparing the green, but that the Ground Committee be auth orised to proceed with the formation of the gieen by day labor, or otherwise. Resolved, That votes of thanks be accorde J to Messrs Scott (Palnierston), Laird (Wanganui), and Bellinger (Wei lington) for their kindness in supplying information rr formation of green. The secietary and treasurer reported he had £7G 19s in hand and in the bank, not including the purchase money of the section. The meeting then adjourned.
