Feilding Fire Brigade.
A meeting of the above was held last evening in Mr Eade's shop, when there was a fair attendance of members. A balance-sheet in connection with the social and dance held on Monday the 27th ulto., showing an even balance, was read and adopted. One new member was proposed. It was resolved, That the Secretary forward the thanks of the Brigade to Messrs C. Bray, senr., C. H. Hosking, and J. Coomb, for their assistance at the competitions on the Queen's Birthday, and also to Mr H. Garlick for his assistance with his horses on the same occasion. AftGr several small accounts were passed for pajanent, the meeting adjourned with a vote of thanks to the Chairman.
