The oil expert reports that he obtained 160 gallons of the finest quality on Tuesday and 80 gallons this morning, when he had to stop pumping as be had no more barrels to fill. The only drawback is that the seawater comes into the well and prevents the oil from flowing as it should. A new bore ■will be commenced some distance ialand in about fourteen days in order to avoid the sea water. The present bore is only about one yards from high water mark. A large company will be floated in Sydney to put down a considerable number of bores. The expert will take ten barrels of oil with him to Sydney on Saturday next.
