Sad Drowning Accident.

(PEB PBESS ASSOCIATIOITI. Auckland, May 28. A lad named Bezer, 1G years of age, belonging to the barque Grasmere, lying at Aratapu, was found drowned to day. He was a son of Captain Bezer, formerly on this coast, but now of S3 7dney Deceased left the ship at 7 last evening to go to the post office. It was a dark night and he evidently walked over the back of the wharf, which is unprotected and dangerous. The face showed a severe wound, and it is believed he fell on a log and was stunned.
