(Per Press Association). Thames, May 28. The revival in mining through the Hauraki district continues, and never in the history of these goldfields has the industry been on such a satisfactory basis. In numerous instances lodes of large dimensions, which were some years ago looked upon as valueless, have now been found to be highly remunerative, thanks to the introduction and gradual adoption of the cyanide process. As the result of this, and the splendid returns now being obtained from Waihi, Karangahake, Thames, and Coromandel, there is quite a boom on, and the country has been pegged out in all directions. The results obtained at the Thames from the deep level developments carried on by the May Queen Company are really handsome. To-day, sixty pounds of nice specimen stone were secured, and the return for present month will be about 700oz of gold, while next month will see even this nearly doubled. May Queen shares, which- a month ago stood at 4s 9d, are now selling freely at 10s,
