Australian Gold Returns.
[Per Press Association ]. Melbourne, May 28. The complete Australian gold returns for 1894 show the total output was 2,106,000 ounces, an increase of 319,000 ounces on the previous year. The iucreasc in New South Wales amounted to 145,500 ounces ; Western Australia, 92,200 ounces; and Tasmania, 20,300 ounces. The other colonies, with the exception of New Zealand, showed small increases.
