The Uriwera Native Trouble.

(Per Press Association.) Whakatane, This Day, The Hon. Mr Carrol has arrived here. He expects to reach Tc Whaiti, near Galatea, to-morrow. On this side of the Uriwcra country the natives are well disposed towards the survey. On the Galatea side a small section is inclined to give trouble. It is not anticipated there will be any serious difficulties. Chief Kereru has sent a message to the recalcitrant natives, urging them to offer no obstruction to the survey.
