A Shocking Outrage.
■ — ■ — -♦ — — (Per Press Association). Adelaide, This Day. A man named Win. Lyon was engaged grubbing stumps in the east Wellington district, and his wife remonstrated with him for working on Sunday. The man flew into a fit of anger, aud hacked the woman to death with an axe. His daughter attempted to secure the axe, but the father inflicted severe wounds on her neck. Lyon is supposed to be insane.
