NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order was adopted at a specia! meeting or this Council on Saturday, 20th April, and it is proposed to confirm the mm c at a Special Meeting of the said Kiwitea County Council to be held on Saturday, 25th May, 1N95 : — PROI'OSKD SI'KCI.VL Ouin-'.R : That tliis Council, under the provisions of '* The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1.550," and uuder and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, 189 1, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a bridge over the Kiwitea stream ou Cheltenham Cross-road ancl apportioning the cost of the said bridge, borrow the sum of 1*457 12s b'd for the purpose of providing two-thirds of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross-road, aud making approaches thereto and all other work necessary for completion of said bridge, in accordance with above-mentioned warrant, and that a Special Tuatc of l-100th of a penny in the 1* be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native Lands excepted) within the Kiwitea Couuty for the purpose of providing interest ou above loan of 1457 12s 3d, to be borrowed under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, ISS6 " ; such rate to be annually recurring for 26 years, and payable in equal halfyearly instalments on the first day of April and October in each year.
