New South Wales Politics.

(Per Press Association.l Sydney. May 22. The debate on the motion of censure was resumed in the Legislative Assembly to-day. Mr Griffiths, expressing the views pledged by the Labour Party, said the Government was less objectionable than the Opposition, but the Party were voting for the Income Tax, not Government. He declared that Mr Reid, the Premier, had a whalebone backboue, which could be bent to force democratic reforms better than the backbone of Sir G. R. Dibbs, which was as brittle as glass. The Premier retorted that after Mr Griffith's remarks it would be a degradation and insult to receive his vote. The House will probably divide on the question early in the morning. This Day. The debate is still continuing. A division is expected this afternoon.
