Fire Insurance.
(PKB PHBBB ASSOCIATION!. Wellington, May 22. At a representative meeting of fire insurance offices it was resolved, in reply to a letter from the Insurers' Protection Association asking for a conference relative to the reduction of fire rates, that" the Association be informed that a meeting of all offices would be held in Melbourne at an early date for the purpose of establishing principles aud a gouoral basis of ruling for the colony. Tbo Association is asked to forward .a statement of their views •with regard to the special features of Wellington, which will I c placed beforo tUo meeting.
