Williams from the positio of Judge in Bankruptcy. In doinj so he declared that the question \va a grave one, and perhaps the graves scandal was involved. '\ herefore hi moved that a committee be set up t< enquire into tho relations existing between the Judges and the Board o Trade. Mr Bryce, president of th< Board of Trade, in reply, indignanth denied the charges of political influence, which he declared were unfour.ded and had been disproved. A I the same time he considered it wa> not necessary to appoint a committee as suggested. The debate on tlit motiou was adjourned.
