The Silver Question.
(Per Press Association.) Washington, May 19. The silver men in seventeen American States have agreed to plump for candidates pledged to legalise the coinage of silver in the ratio of sixteen to one. The mine-owners are said to have subscribed 11,000,000 to assist the campaign.
