The Tichborne Claimant.
HE CONFESSES HE IS ARTHUR ORT'JN. (Per Press Association), .London, May 18. Orion confesses that at the age of It he was apprenticed to soa, and visited Valparaiso in the brim Ocean, from which he deserted and visited Santiago and San Francisco, returning to England in 1851 He sailed for Ilobart in Nov., 18">'2, in charge of a number of ponies consigned to a Mr Chapman, of ITobart. He worked for a butcher named Knight, of Ilobnrt, in 1S").">, and in the same year accepted employment under John Johnston, of Newbur.y Park, Gippslnnd. Victoria. He remained in the latter situation twelve months, and then was employed by Wm. Foster, of Boisdale Station, He was four years manager of the Dargo Station, and remained for a long period at the Reedy Creek diggings. He also enumerated several other places where he was employed in New South Wales and Victoria.
