Football Notes.

A practice game was played on the 1 Oval on Saturday afternoon between teams designated Feildiug and Pohangina, resulting in a win for the former by thirteen points to six. AY. Giesen and J. Robinson each potted goals and J. Macfarlane scored a try for Feilding, Collins kicking a goal from the try. J. Johnston and Jo?. Smith each scored a try for Pohangina. About eight players came over from Pohangina, the remainder of the team being substitutes, while only three seniors played for Feilding. The Senior Cup match, played at Palmerston on Saturday last, between the Palmerston and Pirates Clubs, resulted in favor of the former by three points (a try scored by Podovini to nil. The Palmerston men have improved considerably since their previous match and passed splendidly.
