Serious Tram Accident.

(Per Press Association). Wellington, May 19. George Ncwmau, a driver employed on the city tramways, was admitted to the hospital last night having received serious injuries by falling off the tramway. It appears lie was returning to work from bis home and riding on the step of tlio tram. The next seen of him was on the ground and the tram stopped "with all speed but one of the wheels caught him and it is believed several of his ribs are broken. To-day be is a little easier and recovered consciousness.
