"^VTOTICE is hereby given that the X\ following Special Order was adopted at a special meeting of this Council on Saturday, 20th April, ancl it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting ot* the said Kiwitea County Council to be held on Saturday, 25th May, 1895 : — Proposkd Special Order : That this Council, under the provisions of " The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1856," and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor oS New Zealand, dated the 21st day of June, 1894, authorising the Kiwitea County Council to construct a bridge over the Kiwitea stream on Cheltenham Cross-road and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, borrow the sum of £4.0 l 12s 3d for the purpose of providing two-thirds of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Kiwitea Stream on Cheltenham Cross-road, and making approaches thereto and all other work necessary for completion of said bridge, in accordance with above-mentioned warrant, ancl that a Special Rate of 1-lOOth of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown aud Native Lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County for the purpose of providing interest on above loan of £457 12s 3d, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886"; such rate to be annually recurring for 20 years, and payable in equal halfyearly instalments on the first day of April and October in each year.
