Bowling Club.
o A meeting of members of the Feikling Bowling Club was held at Mr Giesen's offices last evening. Present — Messrs W. A. Sandilands, H. W. Davy (secretary), W. A. L. Bailey, H. 1,. Sherwill, G. Say well, C. Bray (junr.), E. Gicscn, W. Carthew, W. Hodren, G. W. Fowles, W. G. Haybittle, E. J. Allen, E. Goodbehere, P. Thoiason, 11. Worsfold, J. Scott, and H. Bastings. The Secretary reported that thirtyeight members had paid their subscriptions ; that the section had been purchased from the Corporation for £30, and the transfer was ready for the signatures of trustees. After some discussion it was decided, as recommended by the Finance committee, that £1 debentures be issued to provide funds for preparing the green, but that no further expencli ture be made until £150 debentures have been subscribed. Resolved, That the Ground Committee be instructed to prepare specifications of a green of four rinks and obtain estimates of the cost of necessary work ; a report to be submitted at a meeting to be hylcl on May 29th.
