-— — — -o (Per Press Association). Pabis, May 13. Speaking at a banquet at the opening of the Bordeaux Exhibition, M. Ribot said that the democracy had proved capable of uniform tenacious foreign policy. The world had realised that an enduring alliance with Russia was the guarantee of peace. After the campaign in Madagascar was over, it was intended to make the island a real colony, and they would offer their young men to convert it it into a new France.
