Plague in the East.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, May 2. News by the s.s. Changsa is to the effect that the plague has reappeared at Macao, Canton and Hong Kong, and that an epidemic of small pox at Calcutta has reached alarming dimensions. Two hundred aud sixty three deaths took place in one week, and the death rate has reached 68 per 100.
