WELLINGTON RACES.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington. This Day. The weather is fine for the final day's races and the attendance good. The course is heavy from yesterday's rain. Results : — Trial Steeplechase— Waritil, Chrystal 2, Wangaimoana 3. Minerva, Kaffir and Playboy also started but met with mishaps. Won by a length. No time was taken. Dividend, £7 10s. Hurdles— Auroa 1, Langley the Devil 2, Dromedary 3. Only starters. Auroa and Langley raced together almost the whole way until the straight when Auroa drew out and won comfortably by a length. Time, 3min SOisec. Dividend, £1 16s. Sheenan, who rode Minerva in the previous race, had a small bone of his wrist broken by the fall. Hack Hurdler — Bird l, w ßevenue 2. Only starters. Won easily* Dividend, £1 7s. _^ __ •
